Bryan B. Merce joined Grauer & Kriegel, LLC in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, for many years he worked for large law firms in Pennsylvania and Illinois representing both injured workers and employers in workers’ compensation and Social Security cases. Mr. Merce has extensive trial experience in workers’ compensation cases in both Pennsylvania and Illinois. He has secured several awards and settlements for his injured clients.

Bryan’s empathy and compassion for injured people is what led him to once again represent injured workers. His prior experience representing employers provides him with the knowledge to anticipate the employers’ arguments and strategies, which allows him to efficiently counter them for his clients.

Bryan earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he studied Economics. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Mr. Merce is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and Illinois Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association.

Bryan has returned to the Chicagoland area after 10 years in Pennsylvania to be closer to family. He enjoys trying all types of food with his wife, hiking, and traveling, and he remains an avid Chicago sports fan. Bryan is fluent in Romanian.
