Andrew J. Kriegel joined the law firm of Grauer & Kriegel, LLC in 2015. He was named partner in 2017, two years after joining the firm. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kriegel practiced at a large downstate law firm representing injured workers and personal injury/accident victims. Mr. Kriegel has significant experience representing injury victims. Mr. Kriegel took over day-to-day management of the firm in 2022.

Mr. Kriegel has devoted his entire legal career to representing injury victims. A skilled litigator and negotiator, Mr. Kriegel has represented injured clients in numerous personal injury and workers' compensation cases.

Mr. Kriegel has successfully tried cases to verdict in the Cook County Circuit Court, DuPage Country Circuit Court. He has also tried numerous cases before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission. Through his efforts at trial, Mr. Kriegel has secured significant monetary awards for his clients, including an award of over $1,700,000 for his client in a worker’s compensation trial. In addition to his courtroom success, Mr. Kriegel has secured multiple six and seven figure settlements for his injured clients.

Mr. Kriegel has also successfully handled appeals before the First District and Second District Appellate Court. The cases Mr. Kriegel has handled before the Appellate Courts have addressed novel issues of law and fact.

Andrew J. Kriegel is active in his local legal community. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and Illinois Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association. He has been a featured speaker at a continuing legal education seminar before the Workers' Compensation Lawyers' Association.

Andrew J. Kriegel earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University, where he studied Business Administration and Economics. He went on to attend law school where he graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Mr. Kriegel is dedicated to his community as demonstrated by his involvement in his church. In his free time, he enjoys staying active. He continues to play hockey and is an avid golfer. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
